We can’t grow the economy without growing people, Dr Susan Pember OBE told viewers of The Future of Further Education Forum this week.

In a presentation titled: Students at the heart of the FE and skills system, the Director, Further Education and Skills Investment, Department for Business; Innovation and Skills, insisted that the UK would not be able to compete with the rest of the world without a ‘really good skills base’.
