Sonia Roschnik

Sonia Roschnik, Operational Director, NHS Sustainable Development Unit

Sonia is the Operational Director of the NHS Sustainable Development Unit. She trained as an Occupational Therapist in Oxford and worked as a clinician in Scotland, Switzerland, New Zealand and the Solomon Islands. She developed an interest in the integration of services across health and social care and project managed an approach in North East Glasgow. She managed therapy services in Addenbrookes and project managed the Full Business Case for a PFI project across Addenbrookes, the Medical Research Council and the University of Cambridge before becoming Deputy Director of Operations and leading on effective patient care, capacity planning, and emergency planning. Sonia has always nurtured an interest in sustainable development and international development particularly in Africa where she has supported health services in Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
