Jon Kingsbury
Jon Kingsbury is Director of Creative Economy at the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA).
His remit is to encourage growth and innovation in the UK’s creative economy, especially where creativity can bring benefits to our wider society. Before becoming interested in driving creative business growth, Jon held a number of senior editorial online commissioning roles at the BBC and Channel 4, in the space where linear TV broadcasting meets interactive content.
Before NESTA, Jon was responsible for BBC Online’s engagement with the UK’s digital media sector.
