Professor Christine King CBE

Chris King is Professor of History at Staffordshire University and its former Vice Chancellor. She is internationally recognised for her work on the Third Reich. Within the world of post compulsory education in the UK she has been and remains a campaigner, strategist, writer and speaker in the cause of more flexible approaches in order to offer wider access and opportunities. She is a champion of the potential that can be achieved by further and higher education working together. As one of the first women Vice Chancellors she is an advocate for diversity in leadership and leadership styles and acts as a professional mentor to a number of current and future managers and leaders. Chris says that what she is most proud of is the achievements of her students.
