Graeme Nuttall

Graeme Nuttall, Partner, Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP

Graeme is dual qualified as a solicitor and a chartered tax adviser and heads the Equity Incentives and Charities teams.
Graeme deals with a very broad range of equity incentives arrangements including advising on employee trusts, employee buy-outs and the niche area of employee and trust owned companies. “FFW’s expertise in employee ownership solutions was called on in its development of the novel ‘BonusSave’ share incentive plan for John Lewis” (Legal 500, 2007). Graeme belonged to the HM Treasury Employee Ownership Advisory Group that developed the share incentive plan and EMI share options. He drafted the Employee Share Schemes Bill, a successful Private Member’s Bill.
His work for charities and mutuals includes helping the General Medical Council achieve charitable status and advising the co-owned Radio Taxis Group Limited. His experience and expertise combines in his pioneering work on public sector services reform. He advised City Health Care Partnership CIC and Central Surrey Health Limited on their novel employee-owned social enterprises and the award winning Sunderland Home Care Associates on its employee ownership model.
