Cath Holmes has been ‘Director of Specialism’ at Therfield School, in Leatherhead, Surrey for the past three years. Previously she has been ‘Head of PE & Sport Faculty’ in three schools, which included working at a British International School in Malaysia. She still teaches Physical Education full time, though concentrates her efforts more on examination work nowadays!

Her current role focuses on increasing sporting opportunities for youngsters; the impact sport can have on wider school issues particularly through aspects such as leadership development and cross curricular projects. Therfield School has been a Get Set network school for a year and a half, and is very excited about the next six months in the lead up to London 2012.
