Vincent Paliczka

Vincent is currently Director of Environment, Culture and Communities at Bracknell Forest Council in Berkshire.

He has worked for the authority in a number of roles since it
became a unitary council in 1998. He is responsible for a wide-ranging portfolio of services within which Leisure and Culture
play a prominent part.

Prior to this he has worked in local authorities in Newport South Wales, and High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire and also worked at The Queen’s University in Belfast in a research capacity.

He was Chair of the Chief Cultural and Leisure Officers Association between July 2005 and July 2007, remains part of its executive committee and takes a lead role in matters relating to health and wellbeing.

Within Bracknell Forest, he is the corporate lead for climate change and the local and national use of the Council’s Smartcard
software, (SmartConnect) created through the former National Smartcard Project.
