Commander Steve Rodhouse

Steve Rodhouse has 19 years service within the Police Service both in London and a County Force (Surrey Police).

He is an accredited Detective and whilst at Surrey Police he led the National Workforce Modernisation Programme which produced a range of operational police staff roles into CID response/Neighbourhood Policing.

He joined the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) in July 2010. He currently works within the Specialist Crime and Operations Business Group and has responsibility for Gangs and Organised Crime. His portfolio includes Trident Gang Crime Command, Specialist and Economic Crime, Organised Crime Proactive Syndicates and the MPS Kidnap Unit.

He is also the MPS lead for Operation Withern - the investigation into offences committed during the disorder in August 2011. Additionally he is the National ACPO lead for Personal Robbery and National Balistics Intelligence Service.

Steve lives in Berkshire with his wife and 3 children.
