Dan Dearnley

Daniel Dearnley has a successful and significant history working with parents and children from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds. Working at ground level in Children's Homes and in Substance Misuse Services as both Street Based Outreach Worker and Community Coordinator in difficult and deprived areas.

Daniel then made a career move taking up a management position in a Sure Start Children's Centre. Since then he has been recognised by partner organisations and Children's Centres from other Local Authorities as delivering innovative practice within the community. Daniel holds a variety of relevant qualifications and has recently been accepted as a Specialist Leader of Education.

Daniel, along with the team he leads, has recently been judged as delivering an "Outstanding" service in Value for Money and User Engagement. He wishes to share his ideas on how this has been achieved through delivering a workshop at this Conference.
