Carole Parkes

Carole Parkes has been key driver for Aston‟s early and active involvement with UN PRME (Principles of Responsible Management Education) that aim to be a driver for changing the education of future business leaders in creating an inclusive and sustainable global economy. This includes leading curriculum change across the Business School & and now the University. She developed Business, Ethics, Responsibility & Sustainability on the Aston MBA and an MSc in Social Responsibility &
Sustainability.

Carole regularly participates in related events, locally and globally including Rio+20 Earth Summit and UN PRME summits. In 2012/13, she was the Christopher Chair in Business Ethics in Chicago and in 2013, hosted the Foundation meeting of UK & Ireland PRME Chapter of which she is Vice Chair.

Aston is now a UN PRME Champion School. Locally, Carole works with a range of business and community groups. Her research interests and wide range of publications are in Ethics, CSR, Human Rights, Poverty and HRM.
