Dean Rogers

Dean Rogers is a National Officer for the PCS union, representing civil servants and those on government related contracts especially across the Sports and Culture Sector. PCS is a politically independent union with over 300,000 members including those in national galleries, museums, their commercial arms, as well as the national sports bodies and UK Sport.
Dean’s previous portfolios include being London & SE Regional Secretary, transport, environment and defence sectors. A graduate of the University of Nottingham and Swansea University, he joined PCS in 2001. Previously he taught for six years and worked for the MPO union, representing managers in local government. Dean’s also a school governor and board member of the London Sustainability Exchange (LSx).
Dean’s always had an active interest across the arts. A loyal Harlequins Rugby League supporter, qualified football and rugby referee, Dean’s also coached football, rugby, handball and swimming. On 25th September he’ll be rowing in The Great River Race.
