James Gibbs

James graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2008 with a 1st Class degree in Psychology, and has recently started working towards qualifications in counselling.

Before joining VOICE UK, James worked as a volunteer coordinator for Lancashire County Council, where he set up and oversaw the running of two projects supporting people with disabilities into volunteering and employment respectively.

During his time with VOICE UK James has built a strong base in the North West and now coordinates a team of staff and volunteers, supporting vulnerable victims of crime across Manchester. He has strong experience working for victims both in the UK and overseas, most recently, running seminars with delegates at Victim Support Europe’s 2010 Conference in Berlin.
