Dr Sarah Pinto-Duschinsky

Dr Sarah Pinto-Duschinsky joined Commissioning Support for London (CSL) in September 2009 as the Executive Chair to lead the organisation as it delivers its challenging agenda to provide clinical and business support to NHS commissioners across London.

Dr Pinto-Duschinsky had been Chief Executive of NHS Harrow since January 2008, and from September 2009 was leading both NHS Harrow and CSL simultaneously. From April 2010, Sarah joined CSL full-time as the Executive Chair, and is now Chief Executive. Prior to that, she was Deputy Chief Executive at East & North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, with particular responsibility for strategy and capital planning. She has also worked at both Strategic Health Authority and Regional Office levels. Sarah joined the NHS Management Training Scheme in 1999. Prior to that she worked as an academic having been awarded a doctorate which examined the role of intellectual property in the commercial strategy of start up biotechnology firms.
