Speaker Biography

Andrew Sich

Andrew is Head of Policy & Corporate Affairs at City & Guilds. His remit includes helping to shape policy; leading a programme of political engagement; external relations; and co-ordinating and championing corporate social and environmental responsibility. He is a member of the Senior Management Team.

After graduating with a History degree from Magdalen College, Oxford, Andrew’s first career was as an editor in educational publishing. He worked for a number of firms, including a seven-year stint at Edward Arnold.

He first joined City & Guilds in 1984 and headed up the Marketing & PR department. In 1999 he was appointed Project Director to manage a number of initiatives marking the centenary of City & Guilds’ Royal Charter. Since that time he has had a variety of roles which have included responsibility for City & Guilds Fellowship and the development of the City & Guilds Association.
