Janette Ryan is Director of the Higher Education Academy’s Teaching International Students Project and Director of the University of Oxford’s Teaching and Support for International Students Project. She is also a Research Associate at the China Centre at the University of Oxford and Visiting Professor at the Centre for Academic Practice and Internationalisation at Leeds Metropolitan University.

Her publications include A guide to teaching international students (2000), Teaching international students: Improving learning for all (2005), International education and the Chinese learner (2010), China’s higher education reform and internationalisation (2011), Education reform in China (2011) and Cross cultural teaching and learning for home and international students: Internationalisation of pedagogy and curriculum in higher education (Forthcoming).
