A new approach to local regeneration and economic development

Bringing together chief executives and senior regeneration managers from local authorities, regional development agencies, the private sector and other stakeholders, this conference provided an update on the direction of the Government’s regeneration and local economic development policy and allowed delegates to share their experiences of regeneration in a recession.
Keynote speaker: Rt Hon Hazel Blears MP, Secretary of State, Communities and Local Government and Mike Ward, Chief Executive, British Urban Regeneration Association.
