London GP Innovations Forum
07 Nov 2012
Broadcast from London

“Everyone has two jobs: to do what they do and to improve what they do.” Delivering great general practice services has never been harder:

● Patient needs and expectations are rising

● Workforce challenges are deepening

●Resource will at best be static

The role of general practice within the healthcare system is more pivotal than ever, from prevention to multidisciplinary management of the most complex cases.

London’s general practice community needs to raise standards and capacity, improve consistency and enhance working conditions. Meeting these challenges will require organisations that are fresh thinking and adaptable, who want to offer a new deal for their patients. Adopting a culture that supports innovation and creativity will be key.
