Diplomas should be “the only game in town” - 29 Sep 2009
Our education feature includes debate on the new Diplomas with John Dunford, General Secretary at the Association of School and College Leaders proposing that the “add ons” should become part of all post-16 qualifications. Government should sign up to a coherent system with the Diploma concept extended so that they became “the only game in town” but without getting rid of A’ Levels and GCSEs, said Dunford.
