Jason is a Clinical Psychologist, specialising in working with adults with learning disabilities and with adults with autism spectrum conditions. He splits his working time between Islington Learning Disabilities Partnership, Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust - Asperger's Syndrome Diagnostic and Consultation Service and as a member of the staff team on the University College London, Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Jason is particularly interested in mental health issues affecting individuals with autism spectrum conditions, developing psychological therapies and promoting psychological well-being within this group. In relation to this, Jason is also interested in the impact that receiving a diagnosis of an autism spectrum condition has on identity and perceptions of stigma.
He also has interests more widely, in researching and providing interventions for challenging behaviour in adults with learning disabilities and autism spectrum conditions.
