Jo Prestige

Jo has worked in the homelessness sector since 2008, having previously worked in mental health and substance misuse services. After working as a street outreach worker in Central London, Jo moved to the Pan London Personalised Budgets Project (St Mungos Broadway); providing intensive 1:1 support and a personalised budget to individuals identified as the most long-term street homeless across the capital.

Jo successfully supported the majority of her case load into housing and support. Last year Jo moved to Providence Row charity as their lead for mental health and wellbeing.

In addition to directly supporting the service users, she is building the capacity of the team and leading on developing an Enabling Environment.

In the past Jo delivered training on the Mental Health Interventions For Rough Sleepers Toolkit with SLAM and in 2014 was a Homeless Link transatlantic exchange participant; visiting New York to learn of Trauma Informed Care.
