Enforcement: An Essential Public Service
26 Jun 2008
Held at the Tower, Guoman Hotels, London
Traffic enforcement is an essential public service, impacting on key areas and helping to maintain a sustainable transport system that supports a strong economy, works to facilitate traffic flow and meets our environmental objectives. The 2008 Enforcement Task Force (ETF) event set out the role of traffic enforcement in contributing and implementing local and national government policy. As well as traffic management, it examined issues around accessibility, congestion and the environment and also provided insight into the implemented and proposed Traffic Management Act 2004 regulations and guidance. The ETF is a group of the key enforcement agencies in London, established to make high level strategic decisions on enforcement issues and to promote best practice in the industry.
