Sheila Taylor

Sheila Taylor, Chair, The National Working Group (NWG) for Sexually Exploited Children and Young People

Sheila Taylor has been involved in the issue of identifying and protecting sexually exploited children and young people for over ten years, and has worked tirelessly to highlight the links between internal trafficking and sexual exploitation. She is the Chief Executive of Safe and Sound Derby, a charity that seeks to reach out to these vulnerable children and young people.

Sheila is extremely determined to highlight the problem of child sexual exploitation and as such has been the Chair of the National Working Group for Sexually Exploited Children and Young People (NWG) since December 2008. She also Chairs the National Boys and Young Men’s Forum and the East Midlands Forum, both of which engage professionals in statutory and voluntary organisations who have responsibility for, and an interest, in working to protect children and young people sexually exploited.
