Marc Lintern

Marc Lintern is Head of Employability at Plymouth University and a Board Member of the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory services (AGCAS). Having qualified as a careers adviser in 1990, Marc has spent the majority of his career since working in the higher education sector, the last thirteen years as Head of Careers & Employability at Plymouth. In this role Marc provides strategic institutional leadership on employability, within a university which prides itself on being truly business engaging. This means working with employers large and small on their recruitment needs, as well as ensuring that students engage in preparing for their future career.

Marc also has a strong interest in encouraging students to think about setting up their own businesses, and has his own social enterprise called ‘Trufflehog’, through which university students write, illustrate and publish children’s books, achieving a first book for their CV and a great insight into the tough world of publishing.
