After completing her P.G. Dip C.G in 2001, Leeanne took a position with the Careers Service in Swindon.

Leeanne started working for Dorcan Academy in 2007. This has enabled her to focus more on the teaching and learning of careers education within the school. As Aim Higher co-ordinator at Dorcan she has completed research projects in collaboration with Bath and Bristol Universities.

Currently, she runs the Careers Department and helps oversee the progression of students and delivery of intervention work in Ks4, as well as monitoring transition.

In 2011 Leeanne also became a governor of New College, a local FE provider.
