Cath Anley

Cath has been Head of Libraries and Archives in Kent since 2002, recently adding the Registration Service to her area of responsibility.

Previously, she held library posts in East and West Sussex; the London Borough of Hounslow; the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and in 2001 moved to the Audit Commission where she spent 18 months as a Best Value Inspector. In that period Cath inspected seven library services and has since led two IDeA Library Peer Review Teams working with councils to support their improvement programmes. Cath is a member of the Society of Chief Librarians’ national Executive.

In Kent the Libraries, Registration and Archives Service is progressing through a transformational change programme with many challenges still to come. At the heart of all this work is our commitment to deliver excellent customer services in the most efficient way possible.
