Jayne Ashley

Jayne is the Head of Sustainable Places at the Sustainable Development Commission, the team deals with Community and National Infrastructure, Land Use Planning, Natural Resources and Sub National Governance. She has worked on sustainable development issues in the public sector for nearly 20 years, at district, county, regional and now national levels of government. As a community representative she has served on the Executive of her Local Strategic Partnership, been a board member of a global education charity and is a member of the National Stakeholder Group for nuclear decommissioning.

Her work currently focuses on localism and the Big Society, planning reform, novel forms of habitat compensation and land use and environmental limits research.
