Kwame Kwei-Armah

 Kwame Kwei-Armah
His plays Elmina’s Kitchen and Fix up premiered at the National Theatre with Elmina’s Kitchen transferring to the West End. Amongst others, he has won the Evening Standard Charles Wintor Award for most promising Playwright, Screen Nation award for Favourite TV actor, and has been nominated for a Lawrence Oliver Award and BAFTA.

He is a regular panellist on Newsnight review, Question Time, and is often heard on Radio 4. Kwame also writes a monthly column for the Guardian.

Kwame was Good Will ambassador for Trade for Christian Aid 2003- 5
Writer in Residence at the Bristol Old Vic 1999-2001 and is currently an associate Artist at the National Theatre.
