International students add great value to courses and campuses in the UK. However,attracting them is becoming more complex and providing services that fit the needs of international students is key for UK institutions to stay competitive on a global scale. Developing sustainable strategies and joining forces in partnerships on a regional, national and global scale are the basis to ensure the UK can meet future challenges. Being a world class destination for undergraduate and postgraduate students itself, there is a growing need for UK students to benefit from an internationalised HE sector in the UK. This conference brought together vice-chancellors, pro vice-chancellors and other senior representative concerned with international strategic developments in HE to discuss future trends and challenges.
