As Deputy Principal of London’s biggest Further Education College, Tim has fulfilled an ambition to work in the capital with some of the most challenging learners in the post 16 sector. As someone who left school at 15, he was an Indentured Apprentice and introduced to the world of further education and an environment which truly cared about the progress of every learner. Tim’s early experience helped shape a career spanning 30 years and which has involved teaching, support and Senior Management roles in a number of Colleges across London and the South East and also Senior Management roles in the private sector, most notably with a blue chip pharmaceutical. Tim’s passion and belief lies at the heart of the role Colleges play in providing it’s learners with a sense of belonging and a platform upon which to build personal achievement and progression
