Hilary Nickell is a Careers Consultant, Trainer and Author with specialist knowledge of the use of the internet, web authoring and bespoke content management services for the IAG and CEIAG communities. Prior to launching his own business ten years ago, Hilary authored ‘Surfing Your Careers’ the UK’s first evaluative guide to careers, learning and support information on the internet. A number of publications followed including more recently Internet Uncovered. He project managers Career Comp@nion Online, the UK’s only comprehensive and impartial all age web review service, and Resource Comp@nion Online a new facility for managing regional and local web-based media. Hilary is currently chair of the Careers Writers Association and co-director of the ICT in CEIAG National Conference and Exhibition.

Interests include Retreat Guiding, a passion for Fair Trade and providing Careers Advice to friends and family.
