Chairman of CIPFAs Pensions Panel and Pensions Network Treasurer to Norfolk Police Authority.

Bob Summers chairs CIPFAs Pensions Panel. He also chairs CIPFAs Pensions Network which was established in January 2009 and now has over 70 members. Bob frequently chairs and speaks at Pensions Workshops and Conferences and has been actively involved in the LGPS for many years. Bob was the Director Of Finance to Norfolk County Council for 15 years and has been Treasurer to the Norfolk Police Authority since 1995. He is a past President of the Society of County Treasurers and the Police Authority Treasurers Society and has held a number of national advisory roles. Before working in Norfolk, Bobs career took him to posts in the London Boroughs of Bexley and Bromley and the British Council.
