Larry Wright is Head of the Youth Offending Service in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

His background is in community work, youth work, and family work, with more than 25 years in youth justice. He has led the development of Think Family systems over the last two years.

Hammersmith and Fulham is developing new ways of working with reducing resources, including amalgamating into a three borough YOT, sharing services and designing workflows that maximise front-line resources.

The borough is part of a consortium of local authorities working together to reduce costs of custody in advance of government plans to transfer these cost to local authorities.

Strategic plans in the borough include examining practical ways that Big Society concepts can work to improve effectiveness of investment.
