Freddie Adu

Beginning his teaching career in 1996 Freddie began working with children with autism in January 2003 at Spa School, Southwark; an 11-19 exclusively ASD special school. After five years teaching English and ICT to predominantly Asperger’s students, his next post was Deputy of The Park Campus, a large PRU in Lambeth. Key to Freddie’s work in this role was the fast-tracking of SEN statements for students without them but who had already suffered experienced permanent exclusion.

Freddie’s current role as Deputy Head at Queensmill School, Hammersmith and Fulham, is focused on Outreach Support for secondary age students in Hammersmith and Fulham and Kensington and Chelsea. Supporting students, teachers, parents and senior managers in managing autism in a secondary mainstream environment, the aim is enable academic success but more crucially well being for young people on the spectrum in their respective settings.
