Robert Marcus is a highly experienced commercial and technology lawyer, founder and principal solicitor of a law firm, Technology Laws Solutions. He was educated at Oxford University and has Masters in Philosophy, Psychology, and qualifications in Marine and Environmental Law from Southampton University. His experience includes working for law firms Macfarlanes and Clyde and Co as a commercial litigator. He has represented IBM as an in house lawyer supporting hardware product, software development, and major public and private sector outsourcing operations and joint ventures across multiple jurisdictions for over 20 years prior to establishing Technology Law Solutions in 2010.

He also works as a CEDR accredited mediator within Berkeley Square Mediation specialising in technology related dispute resolution. A passionate advocate of the decarbonisation of the IT industry, Robert is Executive Vice President of CarbonZero IT and CarbonZero Capital. These are specialist consultancies which facilitate access by UK enterprises to cloud computing solutions based on low cost renewable energy in Iceland and elsewhere.
