Dr Stephen Larsen

Dr Larsen established and currently directs international university programs in China and the Asia Pacific region.

He develops new degree partnerships, pathways, and other collaborative opportunities between Asia and US institutions, oversees the operation of current programs, and manages a network of relations between the for-profit education sector and non-profit universities.

Before moving to China from Harvard, Dr Larsen assisted in the directing and development of the Harvard College Writing Program. He commenced his academic career teaching the experimental humanities curriculum at St. John's College. He holds a PhD in history from Princeton University where his focus of research was alternative models of education in the founding of the modern university in early 19th-century Germany.
