Speaker Biography

Sally Alexander

I have worked at Milton Keynes College in the arena of Offender Learning for 20 years, starting as a part time Lecturer at HMP Bullingdon and now in the position of Executive Director: OLASS.

While working at the college, I have been responsible for offender learning in custody and the community, as well as mainstream skills for life, programmes for Young People Not in Education, Employment and Training, and the long-term unemployed.

The college has worked in partnership with a range of key stakeholders across the Thames Valley to support offenders in the community since 2006. We have worked with more than 1200 offenders to achieve qualifications and outcomes, and have also supported offenders into employment and training through the Job Deal Programme.
