Tim O'Neill

Tim is the Director of Family Community Teams (FCT) within the Children and Families Department at Nottingham City Council. FCT brings together eight service areas into integrated, co-located teams and includes, for example, Children’s Centres, play and youth services, CAMHS, family support services and YOT. The services are designed to provide effective family early intervention. As the City Council’s lead on Priority (troubled) Families, he leads the Programme under the Shadow Health and Wellbeing Board alongside the City’s Chief Superintendent and the Chief Executive of CityCare, a social enterprise providing community health services.

He has worked in Local Government for twelve years, having worked in three neighbouring authorities leading a wide range of integrated children’s services. Tim also has a higher education background (University of Manchester). A particular interest and motivation of his is the cultural and organisational challenges associated with true integrated working within children and adult services.
