Dr Crispin Day

Crispin is a clinical psychologist and has worked alongside health visitors and community health practitioners for many years, as a clinician, manager and researcher in adult and child mental health. He now heads the Centre for Parent and Child Support which is the main international research, development and dissemination unit for the Family Partnership Model, Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities, Promotional Guides and other evidence-based parenting programmes and resources.

He also leads a programme of research at King’s College, Institute of Psychiatry to improve access, experiences and outcomes of children with mental health difficulties and their families. Crispin has worked closely with national, state and local government in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. He is currently national clinical advisor to the Family Nurse Partnership, DH, UK and co-editor of Child and Adolescent Mental Health
