Sian Walker

Siân Walker began her social work career in inner London in the 1970’s where she worked in Islington & then Hackney for 20 years.

She has also worked as a Director of Care for 2 large social housing providers across London/south-east and the south-west. Siân has served as an elected member for 12 years in London, and served as a trustee on several charitable and publicly funded bodies, and following this at non-executive board level within the NHS.

Currently Director of Adult Care Operations for Wiltshire Council since 2008, Siân remains passionate about quality services for vulnerable people and continues to deliver customer-focussed services, often challenging the status quo and supporting others to find different ways to make things happen!
