Paul Ashton

Paul was born in the City of Manchester and raised by his elderly farther. He left school in 1980 at the age of 15 and with only 1 qualification, a CSE in art. Paul’s farther died aged 72 when Paul was 18, and not long after Paul became homeless and stayed that way for the next 20 years. He came to London in 2003 and lived on the streets of for about another two years before he got into trouble with the police and was sent to prison. Whilst in prison he was visited by a brand new unit for people who suffer with personality disorders and told that there was a bed at the unit and that after six months of treatment he would go to their hostel. Paul is now out and living an independent life.
