Amy Hall

 Amy Hall
Amy currently works as a Nurse Practitioner in the Three Boroughs Health Inclusion Team which aims to improve the health of the homeless and refugee populations in those areas (Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham). Amy’s interest in marginalised groups stems from an upbringing in West Africa and also having a younger brother with Downs Syndrome.

After consolidating her nursing degree (from Kings College London) with four years experience on a Trauma and Orthopaedic ward at St George’s hospital and gaining a diploma in tropical nursing, Amy headed off to volunteer in rural Northern Uganda.

This experience taught her that it is not the amount of resources you have, but how you help people access them appropriately that is the key. On returning to the UK and doing some agency work, Amy jumped at the opportunity to work with the Three Boroughs Team. Amy has been on this team for four years and the variety and autonomy of the challenging work keeps her coming back for more.
