Professor Kenneth Starkey

Ken Starkey is Professor of Management and Organisational Learning at Nottingham University Business School where he is Head of the Management Division.

His current research, teaching and consulting interests include: leadership, management education and the role of the business school, sustainable strategic management, and organization and design science.

He has published 12 books and articles in leading journals such as Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Learning & Education, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Business Ethics Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics, Organization Studies, Human Relations and Journal of Management Studies.

Recent work on management research and education include The Business School and the Bottom Line (Cambridge University Press, 2007, with Nick Tiratsoo) and a contribution to the Harvard Business School Handbook of Leadership Teaching edited by Scott Snook, Nitin Nohria and Rakesh Khurana (Sage Publications, 2012, with Carol Hall).
