Robert was General Counsel and Group Company Secretary of Amersham plc, the former medical diagnostics and life sciences company, now GE Healthcare, a non executive director of United Medical Enterprises and NorDiag AS, Chairman of Amersham Staff Pension Scheme and Bespak Staff Superannuation Scheme and trustee of the University of Oxford Staff Pension Scheme and has had consulting roles at Shire, Consort Medical and most recently in connection with the privatisation of Royal Mail where he was responsible for review of corporate governance.
