Tom Winskill is one of Her Majesty’s Inspectors and is Ofsted’s National Adviser for 14 -19. Tom spent many years in secondary education, including headship, before joining Ofsted in 2003. His current National Adviser role began in September 2009 and includes oversight of the 2009/10 survey inspection programme on the 14-19 reforms and Diplomas. Prior to that, he was a member of Ofsted’s school inspection project team working on the development of the inspection arrangements for schools which were introduced in September 2009.
