Lesley Waugh

Lesley Waugh, Person Centred Planning Co-ordinator, The National Autistic Society
Lesley has been working in Social Care for 22 years, in a variety of settings, predominantly with people with learning disabilities; working for charities and also local authorities.

In 2002, she trained as a Person Centred Planning Facilitator and then trained as trainer in all areas of Essential Lifestyle Planning.

From 2003-2006, she worked for Buckinghamshire County Council as a full time Person Centred Planning Facilitator with specific responsibility for Day Opportunities.

In July 2006, Lesley took up the post of Person Centred Planning Coordinator for The National Autistic Society, UK wide responsibilities working in the NAS’ schools and adult services.

She is now the NAS’ Personalisation Lead, supporting the organisation to meet the exciting challenges of personalisation and self directed support.
